ATLANTIC CITY — The Annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s will return to Atlantic City on Sunday, Oct. 26. Teams and individual participants will walk two miles in order to raise money in support of Alzheimer’s support, care and research. The event is the Alzheimer’s Association Delaware Valley Chapter’s signature fundraiser. The dollars WTEA participants raise help fund caregiver support groups, early stage initiatives, consumer education, community outreach, and many other programs and services the Chapter offers to nearly 300,000 individuals and families in Delaware, South Jersey and the Southeastern Pennsylvania region that are affected by Alzheimer’s or a related disorder....
If you’ve ever strolled the boardwalk in Atlantic City you have very likely seen the famous Boardwalk Cats. There are several locations along the ‘boards, including near the Trump Taj Mahal, where colonies of feral cats are kept healthy and happy in their outdoor home under the boardwalk.
