New Jersey Shore, Atlantic City Casinos Prepare for Hurricane Irene

The exodus out of Cape May and Atlantic counties has begun after a mandatory evacuation by 6am Friday morning is ordered due to threat of Irene.

ATLANTIC CITY — With Atlantic County under a mandatory evacuation for communities east of Route 9, the 11 Atlantic City casinos are preparing for a shutdown.
