The national gentleman's club chain is slated to open its first Atlantic City location in 2012,
As long as the dancers don't get naked or touch the patrons in a provocative way, such a club would be permissible, according to the report.
Scores told regulators the new club at the Taj would charge "a significant admission fee" and would be "richly furnished, first-class, exceptional."
Griffin, two days before Christmas, added that, "Further details on this project will be available in the upcoming months."
Might Scores be open for Memorial Day weekend 2012?

Atlantic City’s dining renaissance includes an amazing number of quality steakhouses, but that local competition doesn’t intimidate restaurateur Bob Gans. Gans, owner of the award-winning Robert’s Steakhouse of New York. Gans is bringing his steakhouse brand to the Trump Taj Mahal, with a scheduled opening in late October.

'Penthouse' publisher Bob Guccione never achieved the full notoriety of his contemporaries in the skin magazine trade, but still loomed as a controversial figure with his publication, which was much more hardcore than Hugh Hefner’s 'Playboy,' but much tamer than Larry Flynt’s 'Hustler.'
“I do a lot of business in Seattle, New York and other parts of the country, and whenever I’d host clients in A.C. I kept hearing ‘where is there a gentleman’s club?’ There are strip clubs, but no gentleman’s clubs and I wanted to open an upscale place where businessmen can enjoy themselves in a clean, safe environment without the strip-club mentality.”
A spokesperson for the Trump Taj Mahal tells Atlantic City Weekly that the casino is in negotiations with Scores to bring the club to Atlantic City.
Griffin has held senior management positions at the company's Trump Marina Hotel Casino between 1992 and 1998.

“I think it will reinforce the perception of Atlantic City as a sleazy leisure and entertainment venue.
The old "Playboy" model was OK, as was the "Hooters" approach. But, regardless of Ray Schweibert's claim earlier this year in connection with the "Diving Horse," everybody has a perception of what a "Gentleman's Club" is. And that perception isn't going to help Atlantic City overcome its negative image.”

“It will be a real dud. Who wants to go to an overpriced strip club with plastic girls that you can't touch, when you can go out to Pacific Ave. and get all the consenting-adult activity you want at one of the REAL strip clubs?”

“It's not a strip club if the girls aren't naked/topless.
G-String & pasties won't be able to compete with the surrounding clubs.
This is lame.”

“It's about time! AC wants to know why it can't pull Vegas dollars, but it's draw is limited to tables, and occassional concerts. Bringing in some sexy adult oriented revue will draw me and my wife. We're a vanilla, family oriented couple who like to let our hair down a bit when we go away.”
