Dateline: Valentine’s Day, 2012
Last Friday night at midnight, an Asbury Park Store, Etc., held an underwear and swimsuit fashion show inside Resorts' Pro Bar. It came as no surprise to see guys walking around in briefs being well received by the gay men in the club.
More than a few models and dancers in the gay club are straight and enjoy playing to a gay crowd because they are more accepting and friendly than many groups for whom they dance and/or model.
The embrace by straights is important as our world evolves.
Today, I sit here reading all the Valentine's Day greetings on Facebook. It’s funny, seems for many, self included, the closest thing anyone has to a love interest is our Facebook friends.
Yet, from the gay perspective, the odder part of the equation this Valentine’s Day are those who have love interests and valid real-life marriages, who are forbidden marriage under the law in all but Washington D.C. and seven states, including the state of New Jersey. In fact, Washington State just approved gay marriage yesterday.

“My daughter and I were there, along with my 2 sisters for the underwear and bathing suit show at Pro-Bar. None of us are gay, but we certainly enjoy the people and club and make a point of stopping in every time we come to Resorts for The Divas In A Man's World Show!
