Almost every day I receive calls about nothing being done by any of Mayor Lorenzo Langford’s committees relative to improving Atlantic City. I keep saying they’re busy at work and people keep saying, “We don’t hear anything about what they’re doing.” I cannot be specific, but I can tell you they are diligently going over ideas and concepts that can and should be done.

With no equivocation, New Jersey Senate President Stephen Sweeney said that as long as he is the president there will be no Video Lottery Terminal (VLT) bill introduced in the Senate. This comes on the back of Sen. Jim Whelan’s letter to Gov. Chris Christie saying he will not allow a VLT bill to be introduced into the state government, Gaming and Tourism Committee he chairs.
