Note: The comments below may have been modified for clarity and space.
On “Pinky’s Corner” column on Boardwalk bike riding:
“This is not a good idea. Rules and bike lanes should be set up first. As a casino patron I have had many problems with people riding bikes and weaving in and out of patrons’ [paths] walking the Boardwalk between casinos. With no rules or bike lanes what a mess!” — Anonymous
On the “Bronx Bomber” article by Lori Hoffman:
“We enjoyed seeing A Bronx Tale at Harrah’s in Atlantic City. It brought back the wonderful memories of working on the set of the movie. My cars were the ’56 & ’57 Chevys used in the various scenes.”
— Larry & Lynn, Whitestone Queens
On “Pinky’s Corner” column on upgrading A.C.’s traffic lights:
“Pinky, You have called for better traffic control for at least 10 years and no progress yet. The government wasted so much money on less important projects, but this very important project was allowed to sit with many other important projects. A new active city government may be the real change Atlantic City needs.” — Fred Walker
On “This Week” column from 10/8/09 issue:
“Hmmm... in the ’80s it was widely acknowledged that Madonna was entertaining but wasn’t much of a singer. That couldn’t be further from the truth when describing Kelly Clarkson, who may possess The Voice of her generation. You couldn’t find two more different “entertainers,” I would say. Kelly is also so down-to-earth and gosh-darn nice; if she nixed an interview with ACW, you may be sure to blame her hectic schedule rather than any sort of Diva tendency.” — Be Real
