Joy is an assistant professor of communication at Atlantic Cape Community College. She uses her Ph.D. in organizational leadership, M.A. in communication, and B.A. in communication as a published author, speaker, communication trainer, and business consultant. In 2013, she contributed to the acclaimed book, Human Resource Management in the Non-Profit Sector, which focuses on leading in a diverse workforce. Her research has been published in academic, leadership and communication journals. Prior to joining Atlantic Cape, Joy served as production coordinator for Atlantic Video, technical producer for ESPN’s Cold Pizza, Around the Horn, and Pardon the Interruption, original project manager for CNBC’s Morning Call, a reporter in Long Island and a featured reporter on CBS Australia. Joy has also worked as a professional model and is the reigning Mrs. New Jersey. Joy was 2nd runner-up in the Mrs. United States Pageant.
