1. It just got a multi-million dollar renovation.

A.C. nightlife-lovers let out a collective groan when it was announced the Pool After Dark would be closed for renovations earlier this year. It was noble closure, however, with the Pool set to reemerge on the nightlife scene Friday and Saturday, March 3 and 4, touting $4 million worth of renovations.

“We are thrilled to kick things off this weekend and debut an even bigger and better version of The Pool After Dark,” says Noel Stevenson, regional public relations director for Caesars Entertainment. “The Pool After Dark is one of the most unique nightlife destinations on the East Coast, offering partygoers the opportunity to see a performance by one of their favorite artists or deejays and try their hand at the hottest table game action in town, all within the ultimate pool party atmosphere.”

2. Nearly everything is new.

When The Pool reopens on Friday, March 3, guests will be greeted by an elevated DJ booth, a LED video wall, an upgraded sound system, a redesigned Loft gaming area, revamped cabanas, daybeds and lounge furniture, a revised floor plan and a refreshed pool and Jacuzzis. All are brand new and ready to set the stage for a new round of party-goers.

3. You can arrive in style.

One of the biggest changes The Pool After Dark underwent is the re-design of its entrance. When you walk in, check out 10 new 55-inch televisions and the “wall of fame,” which bears the names of The Pool’s most recognizable guests.

4. It brings in the most celebrity DJs.

With celebrities like Kardashian funny-man Scott Disick, early 2000s heartthrob Jesse McCartney and fist-pumping extraordinaire DJ Pauly D frequently dropping by to DJ, the Pool is known for being a hotspot for celebs. True to form, for its grand opening weekend, the Pool has a star-studded lineup prepared, with a performance by Young M.A on Friday, March 3, and Fetty Wap on March 4.

5. It’s a multi-award winner.

Atlantic City Weekly’s Nightlife Awards celebrates the best of the best on the A.C. nightlife scene. So, folks should be twice as impressed by The Pool, which took home two Nightlife Awards this year — Critics’ Choice for Best Hook-up Bar (Casino) and Readers’ Choice for Best Industry Night.
