With one week down in 50 Bites+ we still have barely scratched the surface on the delicious list of morsels that still needs to be conquered. Last week we hit the three casinos in the marina district, this week we spread out deeper into Atlantic City for an ambitious 11-Bite journey. Grab your lanyard and come along!
We begin this week at Back Bay Ale House, a picturesque spot in Gardners Basin, where their crispy fried jerk shrimp makes for a spicy start to our day. From there we head to Flagship Resort which hosts a duo of Bites. We hit Blue Water Grill for their tasty Blue Water flatbread immediately followed by a stop in at Sixty Café where we dip into the deliciously savory spinach and artichoke dip.
With three Bites down, we head over to Tony Boloney’s where a choice of some of the most delicious mozzarella sticks on earth awaits. From there we journey to Ocean Resort Casino, one of the new kids on the block which happens to hold four Bites under its roof. Beginning at Pit Boss BBQ and Beer, we make quick work of their Carolina pulled pork slider and head straight to TopGolf for their nacho platter. Villain & Saint is up next and their capicola broccoli and gruyere hot pocket serves as the perfect appetizer to immediately pair with the crab cream cheese Rangoon that awaits us at Zhen Bang Noodle and Sushi.
Lesser human beings might give up their trek right then and there, but that’s not our style. We grab a quick drink and hurry over to Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City where the final Bites of our day lay in wait. We go for the one-two punch of Asian treats, beginning with Kuro’s incredible tuna crispy rice and following it up with the light and refreshing dongbei mushroom salad at Song. Last stop of the day is Council Oak Fish, where the wood-fired octopus offers an adventurous closing Bite to an adventurous day.
See you next week!
