You’ll find a host of activities at your fingertips, as Atlantic County celebrates Easter and invites folks to enjoy all it has to offer at this special time of year.

Easter Eggstravaganza. Downtown Hammonton will host an Easter Eggstravanganza from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, April 19, which will feature the Easter Bunny, activities and crafts for kids and crafts, and the Toy Market’s famous Great Egg Drop. Best Dressed at Steel Pier. Dress in your finest for Steel Pier’s Easter event at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 21. The Best Dressed Easter contest will award prizes to boys and girls, ages 0 to 12; as well as best bonnet; and best dressed family. AC Springfest. At 8 p.m. Friday, April 19, enjoy AC Springfest at Boardwalk Hall, featuring G Herbo and special guest DABABY, along with performances by Cle G Baby, Gatti 800, Beet98, Monty 856 and DJ Envy 7. Easter Bunny at Bass Pro Shop. Kids will have lots of opportunities to pose with the Easter Bunny: 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 18; 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 19; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 20; and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, April 21. Great Egg Hunt. A massive egg hunt on the beach — with 100,000 eggs stuffed with candy and items from local merchants — awaits kids up to 7 and those with special needs. The hunt begins at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in Ocean City. Separate areas are set up for kids in different age groups: 3 and under, 11th Street and the beach; 4 to 5, 12th Street and the beach; 6 to 7, 13th Street and the beach; children with special needs, 14th Street and the beach. Tri-State Basset Hound Olympics in Ocean City

Tri-State Basset Hound Rescue hosted their annual Basset Hound Olympics on Friday, April 12, in Ocean City. A barrage of short-legged, long-eared, droop-faced hounds all competed in the games which included sprints, hurdles, high jumps and an obstacle course. The games serves as a warm up event for the Doo Dah parade which takes place Saturday and will feature over 500 hounds waddling their way down the streets of Ocean City.
