I don’t know about you, but I’ve always been a little intimidated by table games. I prefer the mindless entertainment of slot machines.

I’ve played blackjack at charity events, but, even then, I worry that one wrong move is going to screw-up everybody else’s hand — at least that’s what I’ve been told. I wouldn’t even think about playing blackjack in a real casino!

Last month, however, Resorts Casino Hotel introduced electronic table games featuring roulette, baccarat and blackjack. This new technology delivers traditional table games via one live dealer facing multiple individual players, each equipped with a touchscreen betting terminal.

The terminals are located between the Box Office and 5 O’clock Somewhere Bar.

Plays well with others

Golden Nugget Atlantic City’s online casino, GoldenNuggetCasino.com, has launched the country’s first real-money, online, live-dealer, casino-floor roulette.

Online players can play with others at a table on the casino floor via a live video stream. Golden Nugget’s online studio games already include American roulette and multiview roulette.

Plays well by themselves

Within a week an Avenel, N.J., construction company superintendent and a Marlboro, N.J., teacher each won a Mega Jackpot playing Divine Fortune at PlaySugarhouse.com, SugarHouse casino’s online casino.

The first jackpot was $193,737, the largest since the site launched in September 2016. The second was $61,266.

Will play for food

Golden Nugget Atlantic City joins its four sister casinos around the country in each giving away $20,000 in restaurant comps to 120 players at each location.

The comp dollars will be accepted at more than 600 restaurants in 34 states — from Vic & Anthony’s and Chart House to Dos Caminos and Oceanaire.

Through Sunday, July 8, for every 25 base tier credits players earn using their 24K Select players card, they will get one entry — five times entries every Tuesday.

Accumulated entries must be activated between noon and 6:59 p.m. on July 8, and from 2 to 7 p.m. in the Golden Nugget’s Main Atrium, 20 winners will be selected every hour.

Participants must be present to win. For more information visit GoldenNugget.com.
