Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa announced this week plans to construct a brand new venue that will combine sports betting with a bar. At a cost of over $11 million, the project will be of significant size and scope. The new area is projected to open this summer.
“Since Borgata arrived in the Atlantic City market more than 15 years ago, we have maintained a steadfast dedication to property growth and development, with our new concept exemplifying this objective,” says Marcus Glover, President and Chief Operating Officer for Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. “We are proud to have been at the forefront of legalized sports betting in New Jersey and look forward to advancing our product with an innovative gaming and entertainment experience for our guests to enjoy.”
Borgata has indeed been at the forefront of sports betting, as it put itself on the map back in June as the first casino in New Jersey to accept a legal sports wager.
Borgata is located at 1 Borgata Way in Atlantic City. Go to TheBorgata.com for more info.
