For a third consecutive year, Resorts Casino Hotel’s Capriccio has been honored with Wine Spectator’s 2019 Award of Excellence, which recognizes Capriccio as a top destination for wine enthusiasts. To qualify for this award, a restaurant must offer at least 90 wine selections, feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.
“We are honored to be recognized and receive Wine Spectator’s Award for Excellence for three years running,” Edward Batten, vice president of food and beverage at Resorts, said. “Capriccio prides itself on having a vast selection of old-world and new-world style wines that complement our menu’s food selection. This award distinguishes Capriccio as a top restaurant for discerning wine lovers.”
In addition to garnering the 2019 Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence, Capriccio was voted best U.S. casino restaurant by USA TODAY’s 10Best.com Readers’ Choice awards, 2019 Best of Dining Award by Casino Player Magazine, Open Tables’ Diners’ Choice Winner for Best Overall, Best Ambiance and Best Food and Ed Hitzel’s Excellence Award.
