Katina’s Kosmos, Galloway’s newest restaurant, will host a grand opening party 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9. Radio station WAYV will be in attendance from 2 to 4 p.m., as will Galloway Township Mayor Tony Coppola, who will cut the ribbon at 3 p.m. Giveaways and an extended happy hour are just some of the things planned for the grand opening party. Look for local artist Dan Kee to perform from 4 to 7 p.m.
Kosmos’ happy hour is available 4 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and includes $2 Miller Lite drafts, $4 house wines, $4 well drinks and half price off the entire appetizer menu.
The menu offers authentic cuisine from four different nationalities: Mexican, Greek, Italian and American. Appetizers include items such as wings, mozzarella triangles, empanadas, nachos, homemade spanakopita, hummus, and stuffed grape leaves to name a few dishes. There are also plenty of sandwiches/wraps, salads and burgers, as well as pizza and strombolis. Kosmos serves entrees and desserts from each of the nationalities as well.
“We’re all really excited for the grand opening party,” Kafkalas says. “From the Facebook shares, it seems like everyone else is too”
Katina’s Kosmos is open at 11 a.m. daily and located at 325 E. Jimmie Leeds Road.
