Community FoodBank of New Jersey

ShopRite customers donated 1,200 gallons of milk by contributing money toward the cause throughout June.

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey will host the Night of 100,000 Meals for Hungry Kids 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, at its Egg Harbor Township location. The fundraiser will support child hunger relief efforts by the FoodBank in Atlantic, Cape May and Cumberland counties.

Local chefs will create inventive meals at the event, using ingredients provided by the FoodBank, that guests will be able to sample while learning what the FoodBank is all about, enjoying drinks and listening to live music. Chefs from Assaggio!, Dock’s Oyster House, Cuba Libre, Kelsey and Kim’s and more will be among those creating dishes for the fundraiser.
