Tropicana Atlantic City announced that, in the midst of its $40 million renovation, it will have a brand new restaurant collaboration with Philadelphia-based Iron Chef Jose Garces. Slated to be located right off the casino floor, Garces’ latest A.C. project will be the development of multiple seafood-focused concepts, inspired by the nearby Atlantic Ocean.
“Atlantic City is a natural extension of our deep Philadelphia roots. We have a great affinity for the Jersey shore and Atlantic City in particular. We are so excited to be back.” Garces says. “We look forward to the opportunity to bring our brand of Latin-inspired hospitality to the Tropicana and provide fun, new dining options to its guests.”
The yet-to-be-named venues are scheduled to open by the end of the year.
“We are extremely excited and proud to partner with award-winning Chef Jose Garces, to bring his new restaurant concepts to Tropicana Atlantic City,” says Tony Rodio, president and CEO Tropicana Entertainment. We are confident that his unique style and brand recognition will attract new visitors, as well as complement and enhance Tropicana’s diverse selection of restaurants.”
