Look! In the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! Nope — it’s amazing fireworks!!

June 27: Within hours of each other last year, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City and Ocean Casino Resort opened their doors. To commemorate their combined one-year anniversary, the resorts will offer a collaborative fireworks show to celebrate with the public. The festivities will kick off 9:30 p.m. Thursday, June 27, on the iconic Atlantic City Boardwalk between the two resorts. Fireworks will be provided by the Gruccis, the first family of fireworks and record holders for the “Largest Fireworks Display.” Visitors will be able to see this free display throughout the entire North Beach.

July 3: It’s a “Star-Spangled Spectacular” at the opening night for the Ocean City POPS with Maestro Vince Lee as they celebrate the birth of our nation. July 3: The United States Navy Band Cruisers, the U.S. Navy’s premier popular music group, will perform at 7 p.m. at Brighton Park. A.C. is one of only four cities to host their performance this summer. The group plays multiple genres of music: R&B, pop, classic rock, adult contemporary and jazz standards. Free. July 4: Hammonton’s Independence Day Parade will take place at 11 a.m. Neighborhood groups, civic organizations, athletic associations, dance troupes are all part of this family-friendly event. 10 S. Egg Harbor Road, Hammonton; DowntownHammonton.com.

July 4: 4th of July Spectacular with Billy Walton’s Jersey Shore Rock and Soul Revue, featuring Michael “Tunes” Antunes from the movie “Eddie & The Cruisers”; Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Vini “Mad Dog” Lopez (formally of) the E Street Band; and The Billy Walton Band. July 4: Fourth of July parade in Historic Smithville and Village Greene, 9 a.m. This the largest parade of its kind; up to 10,000 people are expected to line the parade route. There will be an Independence Day ceremony in Smithville’s Village Greene following the parade. HistoricSmithville.com.

July 4: Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa invites those 21 and over to the Borgata Beer Garden where from 2-7 p.m. DJ Ernesto keeps the crowd energized until Stellar Mojo takes the floor at 7 p.m. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m. Complimentary admission.

Saturdays all summer long: The summer fireworks series take place on the beach outside Tropicana Atlantic City at 10 p.m. every Saturday through Sept. 7. Fireworks by Grucci will be displayed from the beachfront and include intricately designed scenes and vivid effects including high aerials and grand illuminations. Tropicana.net
