Tanger Outlets The Walk

Who doesn’t love saving money when shopping? Well, Atlantic City has one of the best discount outlets around — Tanger Outlets The Walk, a multi-block destination with outlets like Adidas, Forever 21, Pandora, Kate Spade and so much more. For specialty boutique shopping, there’s no better place to go than Ventnor Avenue in Margate, where you’ll find a variety of chic boutiques such as Knit Wit, J Lor, Marielena and Jamaican Me Crazy. The Margate Business Association will also be spontaneously hitting the streets of Margate giving out free “Shop Small” tote bags through July 4. The promotion is two-fold: to encourage folks to shop locally, as well as minimize and eventually eliminate the use of plastic bags.

Hamilton Mall

The largest mall in the region with 140 stores under one roof. The two-story mall is anchored by a J.C. Penney, Macy’s and Sears and includes H&M, Victoria’s Secret, Francesca’s, a large food court, Ruby Tuesday and more clothing, shoe and specialty stores. 4403 E. Black Horse Pike;

Historic Towne of Smithville and Village Greene

More than 50 shops and restaurants dot the Village Green in Historic Smithville where you can purchase items like soaps, olive oil, wine, kitchen accessories, collectibles, candles, antiques, sunglasses and so much more. There is also a vintage carousel, an old-fashioned train, family arcade and, in the summer, paddleboats on Lake Meone in the center of the village. Central Square

The town of Linwood houses Central Square, a charming shopping center with a range of shops and boutiques such as Sandra & Roy’s, Talbots, Dress 2 Impress Bridal, as well as great coffee and cheese shops, a yoga studio and day spa and restaurants like Casaldi’s Cuncina. Downtown Ocean City

Stroll down Asbury Avenue in the heart of Ocean City where charming boutiques, specialty stores, home décor and gift shops line the sidewalks. There’s even a department store (B&B) and a shopping emporium (Stainton’s).
