Get your Latin dance moves on for Atlantic City’s first-ever Zouk ‘n’ Play Summer Festival, Thursday through Sunday, July 6 to 9.
Taking place at Claridge Hotel, the four-day event includes yoga and dance workshops, classes, parties and more. Whether you’ve ever heard of “zouk” or not, you’re welcome to join the fun, centered around activities that promote free movement.
Among all the casino players I’ve met, Ray is unique. He plays about twice a month, mainly at blackjack, but says he hates to gamble.
The event features workshops in the art of Brazilian Zouk Lambada, a type of Latin dance, but also includes classes in AcroYoga, Thai massage and more. Ticket passes range from $40 to $375. The Claridge is located at 123 S. Indiana Ave., Atlantic City. Times vary. Go to ZoukNPlayFestival.com.
