Chef/Owner, Sea Salt Restaurant and Quahog's Seafood Shack
Lucas, born in Argentina, has traveled the world since earning a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management. Traveling, surfing and working as a cook through South and Central America, he landed in Costa Rica where he opened his first restaurant before he and his wife Deanna moved to the U.S. Lucas attended the highly recognized French Culinary Institute in New York, graduating with outstanding achievement. In 2005, returning to his wife's native Jersey Shore, he opened the Sea Salt Restaurant in Stone Harbor. After three wonderful summers, Lucas opened his second restaurant, Quahog's Seafood Shack. Always thinking about his community, he works in cooperation with southern New Jersey farmers and fisherman to promote local foods. He helped start the Stone Harbor Farmer's Market and is always looking for ways to combine and create dining experiences for the growth of the Jersey Shore.
