The Sandblaster at The Chelsea Beach Bar makes for a refreshing summer treat.

Girasole — This spot is best known for its incredible Italian cuisine (some of the best in all of South Jersey), but in addition to the food, the folks at Girasole know their way around a delicious drink. This summer they have several tasty options, but our pick is the “Eve’s Mint Garden,” a lovely twist on the mojito, this time made with Bombay gin, ginger beer, muddled mint and lime, all topped off with a splash of club soda. Girasole is located at 3108 Pacific Ave. in Atlantic City. Go to for more info.

Back Bay Ale House — No summer is complete without a trip to Back Bay Ale House, where you can sit outside and gaze at the water while enjoying one of their oversized “Basin Mason” mason jar cocktails. One of the newest summer cocktails that recently grabbed our attention is the Skip Collins, a delightful mix of Mr. Finger’s Alibi Gin, Lemonade, strawberries and club soda. Back Bay Ale House is located at 800 N. New Hampshire Ave. in Atlantic City. Go to for more info.

Linwood Country Club — What better way to finish off a beautiful day teeing off at the Linwood Country Club then to head back to their newly renovated clubhouse for a nice cool drink? This summer, their drink menu includes the Sexy Summer Margarita, a sweet and spicy blend of their own jalapeno-infused Patron silver, Cointreau, agave, fresh-squeezed lime, orange and grapefruit juices garnished with a trio of jalapeno wheels. Linwood Country Club is located at 500 Shore Road in Linwood. Go to for more info.

Chelsea Beach Bar — The Chelsea Beach Bar, which sits directly on the sand overlooking the ocean is one of the most picturesque settings in Atlantic City. With a setting like this it is almost impossible not to order up a sweet summer cocktail and their Sandblaster — a mix of fresh-squeezed lemonade and two shots of vodka with lemon slices sounds just about perfect. Chelsea Beach Bar is located at Chelsea Avenue and the beach in Atlantic City. Go to for more info.
