1. The Boneyard will reopen for the event. One of the best spots to catch original music in Atlantic City, The Boneyard Bar & Grill closed its doors last Sunday. But don’t tear up just yet — the Boneyard will be back for just two more days of rock ’n’ roll on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 6 and 7. Many bands that have played at the Boneyard throughout the years will be back to rock out one last time, while patrons of the bar and music-lovers will raise a glass to the closure of one of the original venues in Gordon’s Alley.
2. Dance your heart out on Friday. Both nights will feature music on the indoor and outdoor stages at the Boneyard. Friday’s entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and includes Uncanny Strangers, Stell & Snuggs and Polari on the indoor stage, and Darragh Dooney and Malcolm Tent on the outdoor.
The old saying “all good things must come to an end” has once again been proven to be true. …
3. Saturday’s lineup is stacked. On Saturday, the festivities start even earlier — at 1 p.m. — for an entire day of jams. Don’t miss performers like Joe Dimaio, Khalid Quesada, Cait Darcy, Parch and Low Life, playing on the indoor stage. Outside, the lineup features The Division, Jacob Neugent, Surrender the Night, Bury Your Brother, the Late Night Drifters and more.
4. Celebrate Halloween early. The Boneyard may be missing out on Halloween this year, but that’s not stopping folks from getting in a little frightening fun before it shutters. At the farewell event, anyone dressed in a Halloween costume will get a reduced cover — $5 instead of $10. It’s the perfect excuse to dust off that witch hat and those vampire teeth a little early.
